Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, and on-premises Kubernetes substrates.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar IaC tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC/VNet design, firewalls, VPNs).
- Experience supporting Linux and Windows workloads in production.
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience building or scaling internal systems or operational infrastructure from an early stage.
- Experience implementing security frameworks and compliance controls (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in high-availability, customer-impacting environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and cloud-hosted applications.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, or GKE.
- Implement cloud security controls, including IAM, network segmentation, and logging.
- Instrument systems for monitoring and platform observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers on infrastructure and software engineering best practices.
