Requirements
- 2 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building web applications
- Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in Computer Science
- High proficiency in at least one industry-common language
- Experience building successful production applications in a modern web framework
- Fluency with JavaScript as a prototyped and functional language
- Experience with a backend language, an ORM, and writing API endpoints
- Experience working with a database and analyzing queries for optimization
- Strong software testing habits
- Ability to design new features with accuracy, security, and performance in mind
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong desire to help customers succeed and positive, team-oriented mentality
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the conceptualization and feature documentation of new ideas and product enhancements
- Build and extend interactive React applications for veterinary purchasers and manufacturers
- Build reusable components for use by the larger team
- Implement new features into React Native applications
- Add test coverage to maintain code quality
- Work directly with the CTO and engineering team to evolve the platform
