Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production services.
- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, Angular, GoLang, and possibly React.
- 5+ years of experience using AWS services (S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS, EKS).
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude and Codex.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous, complex problems and multiple competing constraints.
- Experience working with cloud technologies and troubleshooting large-scale cloud-based applications.
- Confidence in designing, implementing, and testing software systems.
- Strong communication skills for presenting designs to a Tech Council.
- Ability to effectively review code and provide constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy components of Messaging Security Group services using AI-assisted development tools.
- Contribute across the full software stack by designing and implementing product components with strong test coverage and automation.
- Participate in product design and project planning to deliver high-value solutions that meet business needs.
- Mentor junior team members through pair programming and code reviews.
- Participate in security reviews to ensure products comply with security requirements and industry best practices.
- Define test scenarios and test cases to ensure the quality of team deliverables.
