Requirements
- Active state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
- Board Certification required.
- Master's in Nursing degree.
- Active prescriptive authority in Maryland.
- Minimum of 1 year of psychiatry practice.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week in the evenings or on weekends.
- Complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and pass a brief exam.
- Willingness to treat and accept ADHD clients.
- Residency in the state where practicing is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity.
- Treat clients ages 14 and up.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.
- Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services.
