Requirements
- Fluent German (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar accounting role.
- Previous experience in SaaS or technology companies.
- Previous exposure to GAAP or IFRS standards for EMEA.
- Familiarity with Hubspot, Ramp, and similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Responsibilities
- Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions to ensure accounting integrity.
- Perform monthly journal entries for book closing.
- Reconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
- Record invoices, manage supplier tax documentation, and ensure VAT compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards.
- Handle ad hoc projects and support other team members as needed.
