Requirements
- 7+ years of proven motion design experience.
- Deep understanding of core motion design principles, editing, compositing, and storyboarding.
- Strong UI/UX and design fundamentals: form, color, composition, layout, and typography.
- Mastery of Figma, Lottie, and Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience with creative AI tools and workflows.
- 3D proficiency (Cinema 4D / Blender) is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of transforming complex ideas into compelling visual narratives.
- Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments.
- Professional presentation skills for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to identify and resolve conflict.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, usage, and evolution of the motion discipline at BILL.
- Drive foundational work streams including brand standards, motion style guides, and templates.
- Deliver high-bar motion work for marketing assets across digital experiences, videos, campaigns, and events.
- Interpret and deliver upon strategic creative briefs for complex projects.
- Analyze work methods and business constraints to propose process improvements and reduce redundancies.
- Mentor creative team members and drive a culture of design excellence and growth.
- Maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to align on collaboration needs and roadmaps.
