Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, provider contracting, or healthcare operations.
- 2+ years of experience supporting provider network strategy development and negotiating provider contracts.
- 1+ years of experience running financial analyses on markets or product lines.
- 1+ years of experience navigating and organizing large data sets such as claim files and provider rosters.
- Experience working cross-functionally to drive improvement opportunities.
- Ability to perform frequent local travel for client meetings.
- Ability to work from a home office.
Responsibilities
- Implement contracting strategies that align with network adequacy, development, and cost management objectives.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with assigned healthcare providers ensuring favorable terms and regulatory compliance.
- Perform comprehensive reviews and financial analyses of provider contracts to identify optimization opportunities.
- Utilize data and competitor strategy analytics to inform negotiation and contracting decisions.
- Facilitate guidance and mentorship for junior team members and support the development of contracting workflows.
- Monitor assigned networks for compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with provider services teams to support provider education, communication, and issue resolution.
