Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of experience in network and security managed-services operations.
- Deep knowledge of networking principles, TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication, and general networking.
- Strong operational competencies across monitoring, observability, automation, and incident/change management.
- Proficiency in cyber-attack response, threat detection, and risk-based controls.
- Experience with NSX, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and secure configuration management.
- Proven experience operating networking environments supporting mission-critical production workloads.
- Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
- Strong customer-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT preferred.
- Certifications like CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CISA, CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, SANS, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Implement event management, dynamic monitoring, observability, and predictive monitoring / AIOps.
- Author operational runbooks and automation to run the service repeatably.
- Design and implement secure network architectures, including cloud hosting, hardening, and security tooling integration.
- Lead and mentor technical teams, providing oversight of budget, contract milestones, and SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with network systems teams to remediate infected systems and support secure network operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security alerts, manage customer expectations, and deliver executive-level reporting.
- Coordinate with sales, pre-sales, and product teams to deliver solutions and evaluate cybersecurity solution performance.
