Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, public health, public administration, social sciences).
- 7+ years of professional experience in a research setting involving human biomedical data.
- Demonstrated knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices regarding human research data.
- Hands-on experience preparing and submitting protocols to Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
- Experience with legal language or data sharing agreement review.
- Experience developing or improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Knowledge of incident investigation processes, root cause analysis, and CAPA plans.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with documentation and task management tools such as Google Suite, MS Suite, Confluence, and Jira.
- Understanding of F.A.I.R. data sharing and ethical research principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of policies, processes, and structures that guide research design, data collection, and dissemination.
- Collaborate with research consortia and institutional partners to ensure ethical and responsible conduct of research and data sharing.
- Design and implement governance systems that protect research participants and preserve scientific integrity.
- Lead initiatives for responsible data sharing by evaluating sensitivity and applying data access controls.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and legal requirements through compliance monitoring and management of CAPA plans.
- Integrate emerging technologies and AI into governance frameworks and process improvements.
- Develop and socialize standards through training materials and presentations.
- Manage stakeholder partnerships and facilitate data access requests.
