Requirements
- Experience with operating code in production environments.
- Experience with datacenter infrastructure and bare metal hardware.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Experience managing workloads on Kubernetes.
- Participation in on-call rotations.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for a distributed team environment.
- Experience with Cluster-API, Tinkerbell, Talos, or Ceph (preferred).
- Experience with cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes scheduling and projects like Karpenter (preferred).
- Experience with Tanka, Jsonnet, Terraform, and Crossplane (preferred).
- Contribution to open source or community-based projects (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage physical 'Metal' environment from bare metal to Kubernetes.
- Manage cluster networking components including load balancing, NAT, DNS, CNIs, and routing protocols.
- Manage scheduling and autoscaling within the environment.
- Maintain Crossplane compositions and Terraform modules for CSP resources.
- Manage versioning and compatibility for Crossplane, Terraform, and providers.
- Collaborate with Grafana Cloud application teams to understand needs and define infrastructure capabilities.
