Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in SAP data-related roles (e.g., Data Analyst, ETL Developer, or SAP Functional Consultant).
- Expert-level knowledge of S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (staging tables and direct-to-SAP approaches).
- Hands-on experience using Migration Object Modeler (LTMOM) for object customization.
- Strong SQL proficiency for querying, profiling, and cleansing source data.
- Familiarity with traditional SAP data tools such as LSMW, BAPI, and IDoc.
- Understanding of modern API structures including OData and SOAP.
- Ability to read and interpret API metadata schemas and complex nested structures.
- Experience with error handling, simulation, and template structure management.
Responsibilities
- Work with business users to identify data for legacy system migration.
- Analyze source data structures, fields, and values while identifying quality issues.
- Map source fields to S/4HANA Migration Cockpit templates and document transformation rules.
- Configure Value Mapping tasks and define translation rules.
- Partner with technical developers to utilize LTMOM for custom migration objects.
- Participate in unit and integration testing migration cycles.
- Assist business users in validating data completeness and accuracy post-load.
