Requirements
- In-depth AWS experience running production workloads, migrations, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using Python and other scripting tools like PowerShell or Bash
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Helm, Pulumi, Terraform)
- Experience developing in a source-controlled workspace (Git, SVN)
- Experience with build and deployment tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Code Deploy, Ansible)
- Experience deploying and managing relational database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Strong background in Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts
- Experience working with containers (Docker, CRI-O)
- Experience deploying micro-services
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
- Understanding of the software engineering life cycle (design, architecture, test automation, monitoring)
- Prior support exposure in a 24/7 environment
Responsibilities
- Strive for continuous deployment of both applications and infrastructure on AWS platforms
- Build and configure tools and scripts for the automated deployment pipeline
- Participate in peer discussions to identify issues and improve overall system performance
- Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to meet service level objectives
- Monitor systems and proactively identify performance issues
- Support NFR activities including security hardening, load testing, and performance testing
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Act as an enabler for innovation in tools, technologies, processes, and techniques
