MSL: Doctorate OR Master's & 3 years; Senior MSL: Doctorate & 2 years OR Master's & 6 years

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA, or equivalent).
  • For MSL: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • For Senior MSL: Doctorate degree with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • Experience in cell therapy, CAR-T, immunology, rheumatology, nephrology, neurology, or hematology/oncology strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, clinical development, and medical affairs functions.
  • Experience engaging with academic medical centers and specialty treatment centers.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong external relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience supporting pre-commercial or launch-stage biotechnology organizations.
  • Familiarity with cell therapy operational concepts including chain of identity and custody.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50-70% within the assigned geography.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and maintain high‑quality scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and academic medical centers.
  • Provide fair‑balanced, accurate, and compliant scientific exchange related to disease state and Kyverna’s CAR‑T programs.
  • Develop and execute geography‑specific Medical Affairs and KOL engagement plans.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development and Operations to support trial site identification and enrollment feasibility.
  • Capture and translate external medical insights to inform internal clinical and development strategy.
  • Represent the company at national, regional, and local medical congresses and advisory boards.
