Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience (MSL); Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Master’s degree & 6 years of Medical Affairs experience (Senior MSL)

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA, or equivalent).
  • For MSL: Doctorate degree or Master’s degree with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • For Senior MSL: Doctorate with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience or Master’s with 6+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, clinical development, and medical affairs functions.
  • Experience in cell therapy, CAR-T, immunology, rheumatology, nephrology, neurology, or hematology/oncology.
  • Familiarity with academic medical centers, specialty treatment centers, and infusion centers.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting pre-commercial or launch-stage biotechnology organizations.
  • Knowledge of cell therapy operational concepts including chain of identity and chain of custody.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50-70% within the assigned geography.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, investigators, and treatment centers.
  • Provide fair-balanced and compliant scientific exchange on disease states and Kyverna’s CAR-T programs.
  • Develop and execute geography-specific Medical Affairs and KOL engagement plans.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development and Operations to support trial site identification and enrollment.
  • Capture and communicate medical insights to inform internal clinical and development decision-making.
  • Represent the company at national, regional, and local medical congresses and advisory boards.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests while adhering to strict non-promotional boundaries.
