Requirements
- Extensive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics leadership.
- Proven experience managing, leading, or functionally guiding data practitioners.
- Exceptional analytical judgment and ability to calibrate depth/rigor of analysis.
- Deep hands-on SQL experience and familiarity with modern cloud data warehouses.
- Working fluency with dbt-style data modeling and data transformation.
- Proficiency with BI or data visualization tools.
- Ability to work across the analytical stack from raw data to dashboards.
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and a product-oriented mindset.
- Experience building or improving processes for team prioritization.
- Interest in the evolving role of AI in analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Analysts.
- Participate in hiring and assessment of future analytics team members.
- Own the quality and effectiveness of analytical work, providing guidance on methodology and rigor.
- Improve scalable data practices, including work prioritization, review processes, and quality standards.
- Remain hands-on with analytical work, including SQL, data modeling, deep analysis, and dashboards.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate ambiguous business questions into actionable insights.
