Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in product analytics or a closely related analytical discipline.
- Mastery-level SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large-scale datasets.
- Strong expertise in event instrumentation, clickstream data, tracking architecture, event auditing, and KPI development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with experimentation, including statistical testing, experimental design, A/B testing, and interpreting ambiguous or imperfect results.
- Demonstrated ability to connect user behavior and product performance with broader business outcomes, retention, and lifetime value.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Devin, or similar technologies as an established part of an analytical workflow.
- Strong understanding of both product analytics and program or business analytics.
- Experience with modern experimentation and product analytics platforms such as LaunchDarkly and Amplitude.
- Experience with data modeling and visualization tools such as dbt, Hex, or Sigma.
- Strong analytical judgment and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable working independently in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analytics for Wishlists and Celebrations, including occasion-based gifting, event pages, and host and guest journeys.
- Define success metrics for emerging product surfaces by building, maintaining, and evolving KPI trees and comprehensive measurement frameworks.
- Lead instrumentation efforts by auditing existing tracking, identifying data gaps, and partnering with engineering teams to establish reliable event and clickstream data.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments that improve list creation, guest participation, repeat engagement, and overall product effectiveness.
- Analyze the behaviors and needs of registrants, hosts, gift givers, and partners, translating complex multi-sided user journeys into actionable insights.
- Quantify how occasion-based experiences contribute to retention, repeat engagement, and long-term customer value.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and AI-assisted analytical artifacts that provide clear visibility into product and business performance.
- Use AI tools throughout the analytical workflow to accelerate analysis, improve code quality, automate repetitive work, and increase individual productivity.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to influence product strategy and guide decisions through rigorous analysis.
