Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong familiarity and working knowledge of ServiceNow suite of tools (Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident and Knowledge Base).
- Proven development skills independent of the ServiceNow platform.
- Demonstrated competency with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, and ITIL/ITSM practices.
- Experience working on project teams that leverage Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with system/software engineering lifecycle principles.
- Experience translating requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Experience working with large data sets and data analysis/modeling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a technical team member.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom ServiceNow applications.
- Provide architectural input and maintain platform stability by ensuring appropriate design and development standards.
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Solution and develop requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.
- Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Workflow Activities.
- Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements.
- Analyze system performance issues and determine technical improvements.
- Work in multiple instances and domains supporting internal and external customers.
- Manage development work using Agile/Scrum methodology.
