Requirements
- 6–10 years of software, data, or AI/ML engineering experience.
- 3+ years building AI or ML systems in production, including hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered agents.
- At least 2 years hands-on experience with LLM-based systems.
- Fluency in at least one agent framework or SDK (LangGraph, LangChain, Databricks Mosaic AI, etc.).
- Strong Python engineering practice with experience in modular, tested, and version-controlled code.
- Advanced SQL and PySpark skills for large-scale transformation on a Lakehouse.
- Practical experience with RAG, retrieval strategies, and prompt engineering as an engineering discipline.
- Production experience on Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry.
- Expertise in Databricks (notebooks, clusters, Workflows, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake).
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to work directly with non-technical business leaders and own full-cycle delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy multi-step AI agents that complete real business workflows and integrate with internal APIs.
- Engineer technical foundations for agents including retrieval, grounding, state management, orchestration, and failure handling.
- Implement systematic AI evaluation using golden datasets, regression suites, and guardrails to ensure production quality.
- Partner with business leaders to translate operational problems into technical solution designs and reference architectures.
- Build and validate predictive models, including forecasting and propensity models, to drive automated decision-making.
- Instrument and operate production surfaces with tracing, monitoring, and quality alerting.
- Deliver responsible AI solutions by ensuring auditability, fairness, and compliance with HIPAA, FINRA, SEC, and CMS regulations.
