Requirements
- 4+ years in healthcare network contracting, provider relations, or network management.
- Experience executing contracts with health systems, hospitals, or national providers.
- 2+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating contracts.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in analyzing provider financial issues and competitor strategies.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy and cost management objectives.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with healthcare providers to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee and mentor a team of contracting associates and specialists.
- Analyze provider contract data and financial performance to inform negotiations.
- Monitor network performance metrics and resolve provider disputes regarding reimbursements and contract terms.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure network stability.
