Requirements
- BSc/MA in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Engineering.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in a quantitative data analysis role involving user behavior and large data sets.
- Expertise in statistics, specifically regarding hypothesis testing and experiment design.
- Experience analyzing A/B tests and advanced experiments (difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity, panel data).
- Experience building predictive models and causal inference models.
- Advanced experience with SQL.
- Expertise in R and Python for data analysis.
- Proven success supporting or making business decisions based on data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for simplifying and explaining technical topics.
- Experience with Bayesian modeling methods is preferred.
- Experience with Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution is preferred.
- Experience with two-sided marketplaces and B2C products is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the marketing team to identify and test data-driven ideas for improving efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain marketing models, including Bayesian Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution.
- Monitor and analyze marketing uplift tests with statistical rigor to drive marketing decisions.
- Solve complex problems by creating testable models and algorithms with measurable business impact.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
