Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on functional and automated testing.
- 1-2 years of experience in a formal people leadership role or a combination of people management and Technical Lead experience.
- High-level proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend testing, including web applications, APIs, services, integrations, and data validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and resolve testing challenges.
- Preferred: Experience defining QA metrics and improving testing processes at scale.
- Preferred: Experience using AI platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) for productivity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Lead test automation initiatives by developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define testing strategies and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Mentor and support QA team members by providing coaching, technical guidance, and best-practice standards.
- Identify, document, and communicate software defects while analyzing testing metrics to provide process improvement insights.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Serve as a hiring manager for L1–L2 QA roles, including conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
- Partner with leadership to align quality goals with business objectives and resource planning.
