Requirements
- Active, unrestricted nursing license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Education, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience performing medical record audits involving post-acute claims (IPF and/or IRF).
- At least 3 years of experience developing and delivering clinical or healthcare training programs.
- Deep knowledge of IPF PPS and IRF PPS regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and DRG/CMG assignment logic.
- Expertise in instructional design, needs assessment, and adult learning methodologies.
- Experience managing learning content through an LMS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong ability to explain complex clinical, regulatory, and billing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive training curricula for clinical audit nurses and associates.
- Create structured onboarding, continuing education, competency, and remediation programs.
- Translate complex clinical and regulatory requirements into clear training content for IPF and IRF.
- Deliver training through virtual classrooms and small-group sessions.
- Track training completion, audit accuracy, and QA outcomes to measure program effectiveness.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing for new audit platform workflows and reporting enhancements.
- Monitor CMS regulations and update training materials proactively.
