Requirements

  • 8+ years of frontline fundraising experience with significant focus on major individual giving.
  • Demonstrated track record of building a donor portfolio from the ground up without relying on inherited leads.
  • Proven success independently originating, cultivating, and closing six- and seven-figure transformational gifts.
  • Experience managing a multi-million-dollar pipeline with strong forecasting discipline.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • Experience partnering with CEOs, executives, and board members to advance donor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and proposal-development skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, high-accountability environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to engage donors.
  • Deep passion for K-12 AI and computer science education.

Responsibilities

  • Build a net-new donor pipeline through research, wealth screening, referrals, and executive networks.
  • Lead the full fundraising cycle from discovery and cultivation to solicitation and closing of major gifts.
  • Own $3M+ in annual fundraising revenue goals and accurately forecast progress.
  • Partner with the CEO, executives, and board members to strategically engage leadership in donor relationships.
  • Design donor experiences and events to surface and convert new prospects.
  • Develop compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations tailored to prospect interests.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and opportunity records in Salesforce.
  • Build scalable prospecting and major-giving practices for the organization.
