Requirements
- Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the translation and/or editing of patent documents.
- Native-level fluency in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in the use of CAT tools, specifically XTM.
- Subject matter knowledge in Mechanics, Computer Science, and Chemistry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain quick response times.
- Demonstrated availability for the project start date.
Responsibilities
- Translate patent-related content from Arabic to English.
- Review translated content to ensure original meaning is accurately conveyed.
- Perform copy editing and back translation tasks.
- Maintain high standards for style and readability for the target audience.
- Follow defined translation processes and project instructions.
- Utilize XTM CAT tools for project delivery.
- Communicate effectively and provide prompt responses in English.
