Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, education, public health, or nonprofit leadership.
- 5+ years of experience leading programs and managing geographically dispersed teams across multiple sites.
- Demonstrated experience managing federal or other large public grant-funded programs, including compliance and reporting.
- Proven success building relationships with school districts, community organizations, and funders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data management systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong strategic leadership and problem-solving skills in resource-limited environments.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 15-25% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for regional travel.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and flexibility for evening or weekend events.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop regional staff to ensure high-quality program delivery and professional growth.
- Manage federally funded programs, ensuring strict compliance with grant requirements, timelines, and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with school districts, community organizations, and funders.
- Monitor regional operating budgets and grant-funded expenditures to ensure resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with the national leadership team to develop and standardize program delivery models and national strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to provide coaching, feedback, and support stakeholder engagement.
