Requirements
- 8 years of experience with technologies in high-throughput environments.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Proven track record of architecting, building, and operating complex, large-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Strong DevOps mindset and experience scaling applications on Kubernetes.
- Deep expertise in performance analysis and optimization of application code and PostgreSQL databases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within agile teams.
- Experience influencing technical direction without direct authority.
- Passionate about solving real-world problems and creating customer value.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and own the technical vision for large-scale, distributed systems focusing on evaluation workflows.
- Lead complex, cross-functional technical projects from conception to completion.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to define and refine the technical roadmap.
- Transform the engine by implementing new technologies, specifically focusing on LLM-based solutions.
- Act as a technical mentor and force multiplier for engineers across the organization.
- Implement and promote best practices for observability, scalability, and performance.
