Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience building custom themes and plugins from scratch or via child themes.
- Strong understanding of WordPress core architecture, hooks, filters, and the WP REST API.
- Experience with performance optimization and page speed best practices.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of website security best practices within the WordPress ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and plugins.
- Translate design mockups from Figma or Adobe XD into responsive WordPress implementations.
- Configure and customize popular WordPress plugins like WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor, and Yoast.
- Optimize website performance including page speed, Core Web Vitals, and caching.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices in collaboration with SEO specialists.
- Ensure website security through plugin management, updates, and best practices.
- Manage site migrations, backups, and hosting configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.
