Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in applied AI/ML, inclusive MS or PhD in relevant fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Strong data engineering skills.
- Proven mastery of modern AI/LLM workflows including prompt engineering, fine-tuning (LoRA, RLHF), and hallucination mitigation.
- Experience with online/offline testing to minimize training/inference drift.
- Hands-on experience with at least three of: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scalable inference stacks, vector search, Kubeflow, Airflow, Spark, Ray, or Kafka.
- Demonstrated success designing, deploying, and monitoring production AI systems.
- Experience with drift, cost, and latency monitoring and automated retraining triggers.
- Prior knowledge of AI/ML applications in the payments domain is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead LLM agents, realtime anomaly detectors, and other breakthrough solutions to solve real-world problems.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, ops, and data science to define AI/ML requirements and make architectural choices.
- Design, train, deploy, and operate large-scale AI applications for batch and streaming workloads.
- Ensure low latency, high reliability, and continuous improvement via automated monitoring and retraining loops.
- Mentor and inspire teammates in an experimentation-driven environment.
- Set technical standards for model governance, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
