Requirements
- 7+ years of total engineering experience.
- 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI models.
- Production-grade proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with custom feature-engineering pipelines and complex validation logic.
- Deep expertise in training and validating gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators.
- Proven experience deploying LLMs and foundation models in production.
- Proficiency with MLflow or equivalent experiment tracking and model registry tools.
- Hands-on experience with production model-serving on AWS, including capacity planning and autoscaling.
- Strong skills in CI/CD, production workflow orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Pragmatic approach focused on delivering measurable impact over perfection.
Responsibilities
- Own the full ML lifecycle including feature generation, training, deployment, serving, and monitoring.
- Improve pricing model coverage, accuracy, and freshness to enhance marketplace efficiency.
- Iterate on underwriting models to maximize cash advance disbursements while maintaining risk thresholds.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for pricing APIs to manage capacity, latency, and autoscaling.
- Design and run backtests to validate features and predictive power.
- Build agentic internal tooling using LLMs for feature extraction and model management.
- Collaborate with Expert Pricers to align model outputs with market judgment.
