Job Details

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Strong math foundation, comfortable with Geometry level or above.
Available during specified class windows (Wed-Fri 4pm-8pm PT, Sat-Sun 9am-8pm PT).
Available on at least one weekend day.
Strong service mindset and proactive communication skills.
Open to feedback and able to self-reflect and adjust teaching approach.
Commitment to at least one year through May 2027.
Prior tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is a plus.
Math competition background (e.g., AMC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Teach math (Algebra 1, Geometry and above) using provided curriculum and instructional guidance.
Lead virtual classes of approximately 18 students in a student-centered environment.
Grade homework and provide timely feedback to students.
Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding progress and learning plans.
Participate in ongoing training, lesson preparation, and professional development.
