Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills (Window functions, CTEs, query plan analysis).
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, migrations).
- Experience with pipeline ownership using tools like Github Actions or Jenkins.
- Fluent in Python for ingestion handlers, validation logic, and reconciliation.
- Demonstrable experience with data validation and reconciliation between disparate sources.
- Ability to design robust systems for unstable or inconsistent third-party data feeds.
- Experience with event-driven ingestion on AWS (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions) is a plus.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or dbt is a plus.
- Familiarity with IAC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) is desirable.
- Knowledge of FedRAMP or ATO-governed environments is highly valued.
- Experience with data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations or Soda.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the SDLC.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and documentation aligned with project specifications.
- Utilize bug-tracking tools to document, prioritize, and facilitate the resolution of defects.
- Establish and enforce software quality standards and track metrics to assess health throughout the SDLC.
- Automate testing processes to increase coverage, speed, and accuracy within CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate and recommend new QA tools and frameworks to drive innovation and adherence to industry trends.
- Ensure testing procedures meet industry and regulatory requirements and prepare documentation for audits.
- Conduct performance and security testing according to business requirements.
