Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on, professional software development experience in one or more general purpose languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C++).
- Strong proficiency in modern web development technologies including JavaScript, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience translating complex UI/UX designs into scalable web applications.
- Experienced with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, gRPC, and Thrift basics.
- Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy.
- Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Design and implement end-to-end fullstack solutions, optimizing web UI components for the media player and backend APIs.
- Review code and design docs, providing feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Collaborate with client and platform engineers to improve media performance globally.
- Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
