Requirements
- Approximately 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling skills with the analytical judgment to identify inconsistencies and challenge assumptions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business drivers and operating models into meaningful financial analysis and forecasts.
- Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to work directly with functional leaders.
- Proven ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and deliver solutions with limited supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a practical, business-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and operate as an embedded finance business partner.
- Proactive working style focused on automating repetitive processes and improving efficiency.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team or company offsites.
Responsibilities
- Own the operating and capacity model for an assigned functional area, including analysis of how headcount and spending scale with underlying business drivers.
- Manage financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans for assigned functions, ensuring assumptions remain accurate and aligned with business priorities.
- Develop clear narratives explaining financial performance, forecast changes, and significant budget-to-actual variances.
- Lead a recurring monthly business review with functional leaders, analyzing what happened, why it happened, and what the results mean for the remainder of the year.
- Review vendor spend and operating expenses, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, increase leverage, and optimize resource allocation.
- Provide decision support on strategic and operational questions, including business cases, scenario analyses, investment decisions, and other ad hoc priorities.
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand their operating models, financial drivers, challenges, and opportunities.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into concise insights and recommendations that leaders can act on.
