Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare, health informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of professional business experience, preferably within healthcare and IT environments.
- PMP or CAPM certification, or at least five years of experience leading EHR implementations.
- Epic module certification strongly preferred.
- Experience managing and directing 7+ direct reports and teams of 30+ employees.
- Proven success leading complex, enterprise-scale project portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (proficiency in Smartsheet or Microsoft Project preferred).
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex healthcare technology environments.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Professional-level proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to travel nationally up to 20% for on-site support.
- Ability to provide occasional after-hours or weekend on-call support.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of 40+ complex implementations annually across ambulatory, acute care, Tribal, PACE, and member expansion programs.
- Establish and maintain implementation methodologies, governance frameworks, standards, tools, and best practices.
- Provide executive oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle, including planning, execution, stabilization, and transition.
- Monitor portfolio performance using KPIs, milestones, financial metrics, and customer satisfaction measures.
- Partner with customer executives to establish organizational readiness and ensure successful technology adoption.
- Serve as an executive escalation point for complex implementation, operational, and customer service issues.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, establishing clear performance standards.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to continuously improve methodologies, tools, and governance.
