Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, ideally in a cloud-first SaaS environment.
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up company.
- Proficiency in Cloud security engineering (AWS and/or GCP) including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and logging.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, including cluster hardening, workload isolation, and runtime security.
- Strong understanding of DevOps fundamentals such as CI/CD security, secrets management, and artifact integrity.
- Strong programming/scripting ability (Python or similar).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform) and automation.
- Proven capability in incident response, including creating repeatable playbooks and automating response.
- Familiarity with endpoint security tooling such as CrowdStrike.
Responsibilities
- Build and own technical security improvements across Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, implement, and iterate on detection and response capabilities including SIEM, EDR/MDR, and CNAPP.
- Investigate and respond to security alerts end-to-end, from triage to recovery.
- Develop internal security tooling and automations using IaC and scripting to reduce manual toil.
- Ship production changes directly to Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps systems.
