Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering teams.
- Proficiency with automated testing strategies and modern QA practices.
- Experience with API, UI, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing Product Quality organization through coaching and performance management.
- Establish comprehensive quality standards and testing strategies across the software development lifecycle.
- Drive the development of automated testing frameworks for backend services, APIs, and mission workflows.
- Define release readiness criteria and ensure software performance in cloud, hybrid, and tactical edge environments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, DevOps, and Security to integrate quality validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support Department of Defense compliance requirements including RMF, NIST 800-171, and CMMC.
- Coordinate customer acceptance testing, operational exercises, and field validation events.
