Requirements
- 3+ years in BI engineering, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one data warehouse (e.g., Athena, Redshift, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Hands-on experience with dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and metric layers.
- Proficiency in dbt for data transformations.
- Experience using Python for data transformation tasks.
- Experience with data validation, deduplication, and audit logging.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code basics such as Terraform or CDK.
- Experience with containerized pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain ingestion and transformation flows using dbt, SQL, and Python.
- Build reliable pipelines from ETLs, CDC, APIs, CSVs, and event streams.
- Develop semantic and analytical models using star/snowflake schemas.
- Optimize query performance in BI warehouses and manage data integrity.
- Build pre-aggregations and semantic layers to support dashboards in Grafana.
- Implement validation checks and monitoring for data quality and pipeline SLAs.
- Collaborate with product, risk, and operations teams to define KPIs and reporting policies.
