Requirements
- Proven professional experience developing applications with Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and backend application development.
- Solid understanding and practical application of object-oriented programming and Design Patterns.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and services.
- Knowledge of software architecture, development best practices, and scalable solution design.
- Experience with unit testing, microservices, and distributed architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Spring Cloud.
- Experience implementing integrations using Kafka and event-driven technologies.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams during solution and product conception.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, Spring WebFlux, continuous integration, and automation is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend solutions in Java, applying object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and established software engineering practices.
- Build and maintain REST applications and services, implementing business rules according to functional and technical requirements.
- Design and evolve solutions using microservices and distributed architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Work with Kubernetes and Spring Cloud throughout the development and support lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain integrations with Apache Kafka and other systems or data sources.
- Apply unit testing and other quality practices to improve software reliability and maintainability.
- Process information efficiently and expose data through backend services for consumption by front-end applications.
- Apply secure software development principles and technical standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during product conception, solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to technical decisions and promote coding standards, best practices, and high-quality engineering practices.
