Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, distributed systems, or a closely related technical domain.
  • Expert-level, production-grade knowledge of GPU architectures including H100 and L40s.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, specifically Soperator or K8s.
  • Strong knowledge of high-performance and parallel file systems such as Lustre or WEKA.
  • Proficiency with data lake architecture and networking constraints including InfiniBand and Ethernet.
  • Understanding of inference optimization, including model serving, batch sizes, quantization, KV caching, and latency tradeoffs.
  • Ability to command a room of engineers and present technical roadmaps to C-Suite stakeholders.
  • Experience defining platform strategy and building technical assets like reference architectures and integration playbooks.
  • Fluency in M&E sub-sectors such as gaming, multimodal generative models, AdTech, or VFX/content production.

Responsibilities

  • Personally architect the infrastructure solutions for strategic M&E partnerships, studio-scale content production pipelines, and generative AI model deployments.
  • Demonstrate to executive stakeholders how infrastructure decisions, data lake locality, storage tiering, and inference optimization impact business models.
  • Translate complex business goals into precise engineering requirements through forensic requirement gathering.
  • Identify, engage, and technically validate relationships with critical ISVs in the media and entertainment landscape.
  • Define reference architectures for how industry tools run on Nebius infrastructure and work with ISV engineering teams.
  • Shape the M&E roadmap by working with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering to translate partner needs into product direction.
  • Chair a quarterly M&E Product Summit with Core Engineering leadership to drive roadmap decisions.
