Requirements
- Meaningful experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with external clients or business stakeholders in a consultative capacity.
- Proven ability to learn complex business domains and become deeply familiar with client requirements, terminology, workflows, and priorities.
- Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable engaging with senior leadership and extracting meaningful information from high-level or ambiguous conversations.
- Ability to work effectively with senior software developers and translate between business and technical perspectives.
- Experience supporting custom application development, modernization, or systems integration projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Located in or near the DMV area and available for occasional onsite meetings.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with client stakeholders, program leaders, and internal technical teams to understand business needs, workflows, priorities, and constraints.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the client’s domain, systems, stakeholder landscape, and long-term application goals.
- Lead discovery conversations with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and document requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Serve as a bridge between senior developers and client-side business stakeholders.
- Support systems integration efforts across internal applications, external partner platforms, and related enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships based on trust, curiosity, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Participate in remote meetings and occasional onsite client sessions.
