Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing playable levels with created geometry.
- 3+ years of experience in AAA console/PC game development.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of traditional art skills and design fundamentals (composition, layout, shape, form, texture, value, color).
- Expertise in modular workflows.
- Ability to use PBR shaders and normal maps.
- Demonstrated ability in narrative set dressing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Adaptive mindset with a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Ability to creatively interpret concepts beyond initial ideation.
Responsibilities
- Produce playable levels based on the art director's vision and level design needs.
- Create world geometry and level composition within Unreal Engine.
- Model proxy assets and maintain modular workflow pipelines.
- Block out modules and levels while creating initial/proxy materials.
- Redesign existing assets into new forms.
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback from leads and peers.
- Collaborate with art and design departments to solve technical and artistic challenges.
- Conduct R&D to explore new techniques and improve production workflows.
