Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in mortgage loan servicing, lending, or a related accounting/clerical role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Passport software.
- Experience processing mass transaction files.
- Ability to work in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Ensure escrow area functions for mortgage servicing portfolio loans are performed promptly and correctly.
- Monitor escrow area vendors and activities through report review and staff interaction.
- Issue accurate Dashboard/SLA reports to ensure metrics meet or exceed escrow area goals.
- Escalate unresolved issues to management promptly and brief them on resolutions.
- Provide training for Escrow Department staff and promote mentoring and best practices.
- Provide direction and oversight for special projects, including status updates to management.
- Monitor corporate advances for tax penalties and manage tax service contracts.
- Maintain data integrity for escrow workstations, including building tax tables and insurance line mapping.
