Requirements
- 4+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering, or 3+ years with strong financial/transactional data experience.
- Production experience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data warehouse.
- Advanced SQL proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with financial or transactional datasets such as reconciliations, ledger data, revenue, payments, or billing.
- Track record of independent delivery under externally fixed deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with finance and accounting stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (resume submission requirement).
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver reconciliation deliverables for Accounting, including wallet balance, transaction detection, and ERP vs. data warehouse cross-checks.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies surfaced by Accounting and external auditors with documented root causes.
- Build and extend Snowflake transformations to support audit deliverables and revenue data warehouse corrections.
- Develop and extend Looker models to enable Accounting self-service and merchant-level data extraction.
- Collaborate with Accounting stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver audit-ready outputs against fixed deadlines.
- Document all delivered pipelines, corrections, and edge cases throughout the project engagement.
