Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Two years of experience working in a healthcare data or technology environment.
- Experience using statistical and visualization tools and techniques for data extraction and analysis.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Ability to travel within the organization's catchment area as required.
- Preferred: Degree in health administration, informatics, biostatistics, or a similar field.
- Preferred: Experience in a payer organization, process improvement, or total cost management.
- Preferred: Experience supervising, mentoring, or training colleagues.
- Preferred: Certifications in SQL, Power BI, or equivalent Microsoft data systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical directors, business leadership, and utilization management staff to develop and improve reporting requirements.
- Develop, test, and train users on new dashboards and visualization tools.
- Perform ad hoc in-depth data analysis to support management and change objectives.
- Conduct, summarize, and interpret analyses using SQL and BI tools.
- Translate complex business problems into actionable solutions and present findings to non-analytical audiences.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and documentation for reporting and training.
