Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on analytics experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the trust and safety domain.
- Demonstrated experience owning data used for external filings, transparency reports, or audits.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, applied math, operations research, or engineering).
- Ability to translate unstructured business problems into defined requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own the analytical integrity of safety data at Lyft, including definitions and reconciliation logic.
- Serve as the primary data liaison to external data auditors for safety reporting.
- Maintain documentation standards to ensure reporting continuity and compliance.
- Manage the end-to-end publication cycle, including QA, leadership review, and sign-off.
- Drive the roadmap for the Trust & Safety reporting portfolio, including automation and metric prioritization.
- Mentor junior analysts and set technical standards for metric definitions and query reviews.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy teams to turn data insights into business decisions.
- Build dashboards and develop frameworks to track success metrics and diagnose KPI performance.
