Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
- Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software.
- Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end, ideally decoupling or re-platforming systems.
- Familiarity with modern full-stack development.
- Proficiency with declarative UI frameworks like React or React Native.
- Experience with backend-for-frontend architectures.
- Strong technical judgment regarding architecture, quality, and reliability.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a well-balanced team of engineers by setting clear expectations and providing direct feedback.
- Own the team’s technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap aligned with major experience initiatives.
- Empower the tech lead and engineers to maintain high design and quality standards.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems, including on-call and incident response.
- Drive alignment across multiple organizations and partner with Product, Design, and Analytics teams.
