Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Law Enforcement technology.
- Deep understanding of National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) submission requirements.
- Experience with Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR), including Use of Force.
- Experience with other compliance reporting (e.g., Crash, citation, domestic violence, traffic stop data).
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve results.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical and systems-level solutions for enterprise software.
- Ability to perform trade-off assessments.
- Proficiency with Flat File, XML, and/or JSON data formats is a plus.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide input on NIBRS and state compliance reporting requirements for the product roadmap.
- Develop and implement plans with agency stakeholders to meet NIBRS certification and state reporting requirements.
- Build state-specific forms and guide engineering teams on state-specific compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure national and state standards are accurately defined.
- Identify compliance reporting challenges, propose solutions, and seek stakeholder feedback.
- Validate data with NIBRS state program specialists and agencies to support certification.
- Serve as an internal expert and consultant to PSO, Sales, Support, and Data Platform teams.
- Provide ongoing NIBRS training and audit product specification standards.
