Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of professional software development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with Java and frameworks like Hibernate, Spring, or Stripes.
- Demonstrated experience with Angular and/or React.
- Experience developing RESTful services and microservices.
- Experience with source control (GitHub Enterprise) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices in a Government CI/CD environment.
- Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for a Public Trust position.
- Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain DBiT business logic, data-access layers, and user interfaces.
- Develop frontend features using Angular and React and backend services using Java and related frameworks.
- Partner with server administrators to automate builds, tests, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate in Agile Scrum activities, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Document business requirements, processes, and procedures in Confluence.
- Manage assigned work using Jira, maintaining traceability to originating work items.
- Support modernization of legacy code and automation of manual processes.
