Requirements
- Senior-level experience designing enterprise VMware, private cloud, or platform solutions.
- Deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vSAN, and NSX.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes architecture and integration with VMware stack.
- Experience with NSX networking including BGP, Edge Nodes, and Tier-0/Tier-1 routing.
- Practical experience with VMware Aria Automation and Orchestrator.
- Ability to develop migration, modernization, and cloud-transformation roadmaps.
- Proven enterprise consulting or professional services background.
- Strong ability to lead discovery workshops and gather requirements independently.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs.
- Advanced technical writing skills for high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Upper Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end VMware and Kubernetes architecture engagements from discovery through handover.
- Conduct customer workshops to gather technical, security, and business requirements.
- Assess existing infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and Kubernetes environments.
- Design future-state VCF and Kubernetes architectures including high-level and low-level diagrams.
- Develop migration, modernization, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Define automation and orchestration architectures using VCF/Aria Automation.
- Present architecture recommendations and defend design decisions to engineering and management teams.
- Guide delivery teams during the implementation phase as required.
