Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on cloud-based platforms.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its native data and compute services.
- Familiarity with streaming frameworks like Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, or Flink.
- Experience designing and shipping production-grade RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Strong grasp of scaling and throughput management for stateless and stateful services.
- Experience scaling low-latency, multi-regional backend systems under production load.
- Grounded in security best practices and standards.
- Experience deploying and operating services in containerized environments such as Kubernetes.
- Ability to effectively mentor engineers and lead technical workshops.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines on cloud-based platforms.
- Perform complex programming tasks and implement software systems.
- Participate in and often own architecture and high-level design meetings.
- Review peer code and provide detailed, actionable feedback.
- Mentor junior team members through pairing, code examples, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives and align deliverables with business objectives.
- Identify and address technical debt and system bottlenecks.
